The Bar:
The Fan Sports Cafè definitely has something for everyone. From luxurious leather couches in the lower level lounge, to DJs, dancing and Texas Holdem, and a Thursday evening ladies' night, it's sure to pack them in. The Fan (and its sister bar Billy Bob's located directly above) is both a full featured entertainment complex and a friendly neighborhood local.

Whether you're enjoying a pint and a smoke on the 75-person capacity rooftop patio or enjoying a private party in one of 2 party rooms (200 person capacity), playing darts in the lower level or playing pool on the main floor, this location pretty much has it all. From a relaxed atmosphere, to hip nightclub, this is definitely not your father's sports bar.

And, believe it or not, there are even Pro-Line and lottery terminals right inside!

The Smoking Patios:
That's right, there are 2 smoking patios in this complex: One is right at street level just outside the lower bar for easy access and the other is on the rooftop, giving the area's best patio view of the city. The rooftop patio has plenty of room, but you might want to stake your place early because this will be crowded on a warm summer evening!

Private Rooms:
There are 2 private rooms as well as the beautiful rooftop patio available for special events, parties, business or club meetings, banquets, or retirement parties for groups of 4 to 200. All you need to do is simply call us and we'll take care of the rest!

The Dart Area:
There are 4 dartboards divided into two main dart areas. Both are self-contained and the dart-friendly staff know how to make sure that you get to focus more on your darts and not have to worry about being served or finding dart supplies.

Dart Action:
The Fan is known for sponsoring sports teams and dart leagues are no exception: Both the Metro and Bloor Street dart leagues have played out of here over the years and The Fan is always willing to support community groups. Depending on the night, you'll be able to find people to play with or you can just set up and practice alone - it's up to you!

There are two self-contained dart areas that provide enough privacy to play yet afford you a great view of the bar so that you don't feel just a bit too secluded!

Driving Directions & Map:
If you're driving in, take the Jane cutoff from either the 401 or 400 and head straight down to Bloor. From Bloor, simply turn right (west) and look for the bar right away on the north side. With a bit of luck you'll find a parking spot right in front and, if not, you can use the public lot mentioned below.

Parking & Public Transit:

One of the few bars on Bloor Street with its own parking lot, The Fan has ample day-time parking in the rear. Parking is free, but on busier nights or during the big game you might have to find local street parking. Conveniently located just a minute's walk from the Jane subway station, The Fan is easy to get to by TTC. When exiting the subway station to Bloor Street, walk right (west) toward Jane Street. Cross at the lights and The Fan is located approximately 50 metres from the intersection.
