The Queen of the Hill Dart Tournaments
Congratulations Kim Whaley-Hilts - Toronto Darts Queen of the Hill 2
Congratulations to Kim Whaley-Hilts in Winning the Queen of the Hill 2.
Winning the 2nd installment of this event over 2-time Queen of the Hill finalist Marion Carli, Kim Whaley-Hilts
(holding her Queen of the Hill 2 dartboard cabinet) shows why she is one of the very best female dart players in the World.
With 34 ladies in the field, this event had nearly a dozen more than the original Queen of the Hill, as word continues to spread to dart players
across the province.
All in all, this was a great day of darts with lots of great darts played, and a few surprises and minor upsets in the round of 16.
The day ended however, with a terrific final match which saw which saw Kim Whaley-Hilts edging Marion Carli 4-3 in their Best of 7 match. The title came
down to 1 shot at the double: A thrilling and exciting way to close out the day.
We're happy to facilitate this tournament, and hope we can continue to provide payouts large enough to attract serious players, as well as provide
a local tournament for players who might otherwise never participate in a tournament environment.
We hope to see you at our next event, tentatively scheduled for spring 2010.

Thanks goes out to:
Kirk Platten and Jack Bowler for hosting the event at RCL Br. 46 (Swansea). People don't often realize the amount of background work it takes to
hold any event, even the smallest, so next time you see wither one of these Swansea members, give them a pat on the back.
And for Al Kosugi for being available to take pictures and to represent the legion.
A special thanks to Big Boy Toyz for providing the beautiful custom DartBoard Cabinet.
